I went and saw Jane Eyre last night, the cinematography and costumes were beautiful and I thought the actors were so well cast (I love you Judi Dench!) however I left feeling rushed and wanting to see more. I vaguely remember reading the book when I was younger but can't remember if the book had a hasty feel to the ending or not. Have you read or seen the film- what did you think?
i agree. i went into the movie with no expectations, i didn't know the story. and then i got so into it, because the story was pretty drawn out. then it seemed like everything happened right at the end and it was so rushed and abrupt. i still liked it a lot though.
